Gary Lima has been Director of the Digital Imaging Training Centre (DITC) for the past six years and is responsible for the new media cluster of programs delivered through the School of Media Studies & Information Technology. Programming activity that he oversees includes: Multimedia Design and Production; 3D for Broadcast and Animation; 3D for Games and Interactive Entertainment; Digital and Visual Arts; Rich Media; Digital Design for Print and Web; Multimedia Communications; and Web Design, Development and Maintenance.

Gary has enjoyed an expansive career in media, including an extensive period in the music industry. As a songwriter/singer/manager/guitar player, he has worked on projects with internationally acclaimed producers including Chris Kimsey, (producer of the Rolling Stones and Peter Frampton) and Danielle Lanois, (producer of U2, Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel). Recently, he completed a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership and Training where he based his thesis on enhancing employment opportunities for graduates of Humber's New Media programs.

Terry Posthumus: terry.posthumus@humber.ca

Terry Posthumus has been the Coordinator of the 3D Animation programs at Humber since their inception. He is responsible for the development of the Multimedia 3D Animation diploma and the 3D for Production postgraduate certificate. The postgraduate certificate has two streams one of which is the 3D for Broadcast Design and Animation which is primarily an animation program designed for film and television. The other stream is 3D for Gaming and Interactive Entertainment. Terry has been teaching at Humber for the past six years in various capacities, including 3D Animation, Audio and Video and Motion Graphics/Compositing.

Besides teaching at Humber, Terry has taught for over twenty years in both the 3D Animation and Music industries. Terry has benefited from an extensive career in animation and music. As an animator he has worked for Disney Animation Canada and has produced many commercial pieces for companies like The Swatch Group, Sopexa Canada, Air France and La Coste. As a musician/producer, he has produced three albums in the last four years and is the Founder/President of Terry Posthumus School of Music in Port Perry, Ontario.

Paul Neale: paul.neale@humber.ca

Paul Neale has been in the 3D animation business for 12 years working on a range of productions from TV commercials to feature films. Paul spent one and a half years working for Walt Disney animation on direct to video projects and a feature film called Return to Neverland.

From Disney Paul moved to Red Rover Studios in Toronto as director and art director of the 3D animation department. Red Rover has created many award winning TV commercials for both the North and South American markets.

Currenly Paul is full time faculty at Humber College at the School of Media Studies. Paul has taught 3D production and animation for 10 years at various colleges. Paul also is CEO of PEN Productions Inc. creating TV series, feature films, effects and video game content and cinematics. At PEN Productions he specializes in character rigging and modeling as well as technical direction, writing plug-ins and scripted tools for systems, software. Clients include Toybox, Elliott Animation, Big, Red Rover, Microsoft games, Enigma Studios, Rockstar games, Wit Animation, Pipeworks software and many more.
